Pastries are as good as the best I have found in Switzerland, France, or Italy. Can't wait to bring my friends here when they visit from Europe to show off what you can find in the D!!
Amazing spot! Finally some delicious & decently priced food/drinks. The breakfast sandwich with spicy chipotle mayo is to-die for with freshly baked focaccia bread. Any baked good will blow you away- can’t go wrong with a classic cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting.
EVERYTHING IS MADE FROM SCRATCH THE DAY OF!!! The pastries here are absolutely delicious! Especially the Cherry and Cream Cheese Danish! The crust is that of a croissant and the filling has the perfect amount of sweetness! The atmosphere has good vibes, and the workers (Owners) are amazing!
My partner and I are OBSESSED w their breakfast sandwiches. Good coffee, plus they have comfy seating and good books, plus gorgeous art for sale on the walls, plus the staff are amazing — the owners built this place as a gathering spot for the neighborhood.
This was so yummy! Great coffee. Home made simple syrups and AMAZING food with vegan option. I have to edit this after eating the pastry which was vegan. It was legitimately a little piece of heaven. Get there early, they were selling out
Great coffees, pastries, sandwiches and nibbles in a truly independent small business, with great art from local artists on the walls. A few picnic tables under a canopy outside and nice seating inside including tables and chairs along with a few sofas for those who want to relax more. Classy music too. This place makes me feel good to be here. A neighborhood treasure in the making, I'd say. Chatty and charming locals add to the experience. My latte was perfect.
The Mug is such a gem! Everyone was so kind and friendly, and my breakfast sandwich was amazing — I woke up the next morning craving it. Definitely a new favorite spot in Detroit!
Triple crown experience... right here! The people, the food, the price. It's fantastic! Opens at 8:00, closes at 1:00. The pastries don't last long, so get here early. Lemon clouds are signature, cherry cheese Danish... MAAAN. Savory pastries and sandwiches. This is a community oriented establishment. Local artist featured... the play the best music.
